• Account Data: Name, email address, mobile/WhatsApp number, and encrypted password.
• Order Details: Delivery address, phone number, and order history.
• User Content: Images uploaded for custom art references or artist portfolios.
• Artist Verification Data: To verify that you are a real person and the original creator of your art, we collect:
  • Photo Verification: A clear photo of yourself (Selfie) and/or a photo of you holding a paper written "D-ARTIST".
  • Authenticity Proofs: A photo of your handwritten signature or artist mark on a physical artwork.
  • Student Details: If you register as a Student, we collect Guardian Name and Contact details.
  We do not collect your National Identity Card (NIC), Passport, or Driving License.

2. Payment Information (PayHere)

We use PayHere as our secure payment gateway partner. Please note:

• We do not store your credit card or sensitive banking details on our servers.
• All transactions are processed securely through PayHere's encrypted portal, which adheres to PCI-DSS standards.
• By making a payment, you also agree to PayHere's Privacy Policy.

3. Use of Information

We use your data strictly to:

• Process orders and facilitate artist-buyer communication.
• Verify the authenticity of artists to prevent fraud and protect intellectual property.
• Improve our website security and user experience.

4. Data Security & Storage

We implement strict security measures to protect your personal information:

• Verification Photos: Your verification selfies and signature proofs are stored securely. They are used solely for internal review by our team to approve your artist status and are never displayed on your public profile.
• Payment Data: We do not store credit card details. All payments are processed via PayHere's encrypted gateway.
• Encryption: All data transmission between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share necessary delivery details (Name, Address, Phone) with the specific Artist or Courier Service fulfilling your order.

Thank you for supporting independent artists on D-ARTIST. Our refund policy varies depending on the type of artwork purchased.

1. Custom Commissions

Due to the personalized nature of custom artwork created specifically for you, we generally do not offer refunds once the artist has started work, except in the following cases:

• Non-Delivery: The artist fails to deliver the artwork within the agreed timeframe.
• Damage: The artwork arrives significantly damaged (photographic proof required within 24 hours of delivery).
• Significant Deviation: The final piece differs drastically from the approved sketch or description.

2. Pre-made Artwork ("Buy Now")

For ready-made items purchased from the Gallery:

• Return Window: You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
• Condition: Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in original packaging.
• Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective.

3. Refund Process

Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed via PayHere to your original method of payment. Credit processing times depend on your bank (typically 5-10 business days).

By accessing D-ARTIST, you agree to be bound by these terms. We serve as a platform connecting independent Artists with Buyers.

• User Conduct: You agree not to use the platform for illegal activities or harassment.
• Intellectual Property: Artists retain copyright of their work unless explicitly transferred. Buyers are granted a license for personal display.
• Verification: By applying for a verified artist account, you consent to the collection and review of your identity documents as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
• Liability: D-ARTIST is an intermediary and is not liable for disputes beyond our platform mediation policies.
